SEV Group is the service and maintenance subsidiary of Smiths Electric Vehicles Europe Ltd. Whilst initially created to provide support services for the manufacturing operations, SEV has now grown to become an important group business in it's own right.

Born from a bespoke engineering background, our propensity for innovative problem solving and close customer support provides the basis for all our products and services.

SEV Mobile Maintenance is operated from our head office in Sheffield and all 130 engineers are controlled by a dedicated team of call handlers, maintenance planners and maintenance engineers. Our mobile engineers are equipped with state of the art vehicles stocked with parts to ensure first time fix rates are maximised, & Personal Data Assistants for the transfer of information between head office and the engineer on site.

Due to the increased demand and desire for reducing vehicle downtime we have promoted our on-site service and maintenance product to contract hire and fleet management organisations that operate within the UK. We have developed relationships with some of the leading names in contract hire and leasing community and we now support Lex Autolease, Hitachi Capital, ING Lease, HVF, Business Partner to name a few, all work is performed using the Epyx 1link system that is now common practise with organisations such as these.

SEV Industrial Vehicles specialises in providing vehicles for the handling of goods and people within fixed site boundaries. We are distributors for Doosan and TCM forklift trucks, BT Rolatruc warehousing equipment and Ransomes Jacobsen EZGO platform trucks and personnel carriers plus Aixam Mega Industrial Vehicles.
